Works every time. Serve with jam, vegemite or prepare a delicious royal Eggs Benedict with bacon, spinach, hollandaise sauce and poached eggs.
(9 muffins)
1 dl water
1 dl milk
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 package of dry yeast (7g)
2 tbsp melted butter
5 dl flour
1/2 tsp salt
Preheat the oven to 225 c degrees. Combine dry yeast with a tablespoon of flour in the large bowl. Heat up the water (so that is approximately 42 c degrees). Pour the water into the bowl of dry yeast-flour mixture and blend well. Heat up the milk until it boils, add teh sugar and let it cool for a while. Melt the butter. Add mil-sugar mixture into the yeast-water mixture, then add the melted butter, salt and in the end add the flour. Cover the bowl and let it rest in a warm spot for 30 minutes.
Shape muffins. Roll out to about 2 cm thick. Dust tops of muffins with cornflour. Put them on a baking tray, cover with the kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 min. Bake them for 15 min. Good Morning! Yummy!
